In Desafío Padel Tour we call 'desafíos' to the matches that you are going to play normally in your club. These are the matches that must be registered to calculate the new scores and ranking positions.

The requirements are as follows: All 4 players must be registered, the match must be played at one of our partner clubs and it must be agreed to play the best of 3 sets with golden point (must be a winner at the end of the match).

Registering desafíos is as simple as approaching the manager on duty at the club and reporting who the players were and the result of the match.

Playing desafíos is free.

Scores are calculated using a mathematical model based on the ELO system. In the ELO system, each pair is assigned a probability of winning and losing. The more unexpected the result of the match, the more points the winning couple wins and the losing couple loses.

There is a bonus depending on whether the match is Challenge, American or if it falls under any tournament category.

There is also a second bonus depending on whether the match result is 2-0 or 2-1 (sets).

The probability depends on 4 variables: Your ELO score, the ELO score of your partner and the ELO score of each of your rivals.

The ELO rating system is a mathematical model for calculating relative ability between players.

The general ranking is currently available and for each of our associated clubs. For each of them you can also find the female and male ranking.

Yes, you can play desafíos in any of the associated clubs. The points you win or lose will be reflected in the general ranking and in that of your club.

You just have to contact the Desafío Padel Tour team at desafios@desafiopadel.cl. We will inform you about the conditions and we will teach you how to use the platform.

You can play all the desafíos you want.

There is no upper or lower age limit.

At the time of registration, the platform requires you to select a club that you feel part of, but this does not imply going to that club alone or having a membership with them.

The ranking is automatically updated every time someone registers a desafío.

You must contact the administrator on duty at the club or write to desafios@desafiopadel.cl so that we can solve the problem.

The ideal is to report the result as soon as the match ends. The maximum term is during the same day.
